Communion Statement

 Holy Communion

The Lord's Supper is celebrated in the confession and glad confidence that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine, but His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of our sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another!  Our Lord invites to His table those who trust His words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us.  If you are in doubt, have questions, or have a different confession than above, please speak with the pastor or an elder before the worship service.

Lenten Service & Soup Suppers

Beginning Ash Wednesday, February 17, we will be holding Wednesday evening services every week during Lent at 5:30 PM. Immediately following the service there will be a soup supper in Zalman Hall.  Please join us.

Thank You

“Ted and I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and good wishes. It means so much to be blessed with your love and encouragement. Thanks to the Ladies Guild for the beautiful lap quilt. He uses it often. And a special thank you to Pastor Narring for his unending love, compassion and prayers. May God Bless You All”.  Nancy and Ted Vernon

 Voter’s Assembly

The Spring Voters' Assembly Meeting will be March 21st after church. (Our by-laws state

that it must be before Easter). We shall try to move it along in an efficient manner unless some

unforseen topic arises.  We don't want you to be late for Brunch!

A combination of an agenda, previous minutes, board reports and new business recom-

mendations will be packaged and placed on the "glass table" in the Narthex on March 13 and

14th with "one" for each family.  This way you can read it before the meeting and be prepared for business.  There will be only one plot, the adjournment!          Rich Meyer, President

VISITING???

We are glad you joined us in worship today!  Please stop by the Visitor’s Center (located in our narthex) to receive a gift and share fellowship with us over coffee after church in Zalman Hall.

COME JOIN US!!!

- Are you thinking about becoming an Associate Member of Faith Lutheran Church?
Are you a winter resident basking in our incredible warm weather (most of the time)?
- Are you looking for a church home away from home, one that has a sense of fellowship and belonging?

Then, think about us!  Please speak with Pastor Narring or one of our Elders for more information.

“Associate Members.  These are seasonal residents who are communicant members in good standing of another Lutheran Church. Associate Members shall have all rights and privileges of Communicant Members while in our midst, including voting at meetings and serving on Boards or Committees, excepting elected offices of the church. New members shall be added upon application and acceptance by the Board of Directors.” ( From Faith Lutheran Church By-laws.)

Start Your Week With God!

Monday from 7:30-7:45 AM everyone is invited to join Pastor Narring in the Sanctuary for Morning Devotion including scripture readings, prayers, and a hymn!

Bible Study Schedules

Please join us each Sunday morning at 8:15 for Pastor’s Bible Class.  We will discuss God’s Word and focus on its application for our lives today.  Bring a friend!

There was a time when prisoners were fed bread and water. The Gospel is John this coming week. He tells us about Jesus, as the bread of life and water of life.

Come learn the difference this Thursday at 10 AM”.

Pastor Clyde
