“Hi to all my church friends. We made it to Michigan
the Wednesday evening before the Memorial Holiday. I went to the
eye doctor here last Thursday, June 10th
and I have to go back the 22nd. I still have
some swelling in my eye and the vision needs to come thru better yet. Hope you are
all well and doing okay. God’s Blessings be with you all and
keep your love flowing.”

Outreach, Fellowship/Assimilation, and Stewardship). Their
recommendations regarding the future direction of Faith’s Mission &
Vision will be shared with our congregation throughout October and will be
voted on at the Voter’s Meeting in November. Your input (and patience) as
we go forward together in the Lord is appreciated! Pastor

also in the United States, to assist the poorest of the poor. By working

Our generous free-will offering is appreciated. Mah Jong: Weekly sessions will be held every Monday at 1:00 PM in Zalman Hall. All are welcome. Thank You! Thanks to all who donated supplies and funds for the FL/GA District Region 3 Mission:Haiti and Work Day! Susanna Thompson, Virginia Kadansky, Pastor Narring, and his son, Kyle, traveled last Saturday to Largo to support members of more than 40 congregations – visiting people at the local VA Care Center, serving at the Soup Kitchen, packing supplies for Haiti, and painting park benches. Thank you for sharing your gift of love for others! Lot Clearing Update! Thank you to all who participated in supporting the Lord. The lot next door and the one near our parsonage have been cleared and the wild growth and pepper trees have been removed! The excess funds raised will be used to help remove debris left from Hurricane Charley, improve access, and beautify our church grounds. Thank You To the Faith
Lutheran Church Family: Food For The Poor
wishes to thank you for the welcome you extended to Pastor Hansen on his
recent visit to your parish. On behalf of our less fortunate brothers and
sisters of Latin America and the Caribbean, we thank you for having shared
in their lives. They, and you, are blessed by your generosity. In Christ, The Food For The
Poor Family Thank you so much
for the warm welcome you extended to us when we visited Faith Lutheran
recently. It was great to meet everyone and share about God's mission in
Guinea, West Africa. Thanks also for the offering you collected to support
our work and for your prayers - you are a blessing to us! Living in the Love of Jesus, Jack,
Cathy, Raymond, & Hannah Carlos Update on Beach Party A great time was had by all of the 45 people who
attended the party last Sunday. Special thanks to Bob W., Bob P.
Larry B. and Jim C. for grilling all the burgers and dogs. Thanks
also to Betty and Kay for all their help. The other church group
helped us out by taking all our left over cooked burgers, hot dogs and
chips. Those kids just devoured them ALL! It was wonderful to
see all the people in the water and one sleeping on the beach! After
taking out the costs of the barbeque, we now have an additional $315.00 to
add towards our summer bills. It seems small, but every bit helps and it certainly
was a fun way to raise money! Hope we can do it again. Lenore and Jim Conenello Evangelism Help If you would like
to help with projects such as packing and mailing boxes to our troops in
Iraq and Afghanistan, gather and deliver school supplies for our local
needy school children, call visitors with a welcoming follow-up phone

Staff) or take a turn at the Welcome Center, please call Pat Walther (941)
639-7536 or Kathy Page (941) 505-0920. These are just a
few of the things you can do if you join the Evangelism Committee.
